Surat's sessions court has given its verdict in the case of former Congress President and MP Rahul Gandhi's comment on 'Modi surname'. Rahul Gandhi has been convicted in the defamation case. Significantly, during the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Rahul Gandhi had said in his speech in Karnataka, 'Why Modi is the surname of all thieves?'
