The poignant incident, occurring in Velu village within Murbad taluka, stemmed from recurrent domestic conflicts between the two.

On an evening that should have been peaceful, tension brewed as the son, discontent with the taste of the meal, engaged in a heated argument with his mother. This disagreement was not an isolated event but rather an extension of frequent quarrels they had over domestic matters.
