US Actor was shot dead as he was being robbed of his car

American actor Johnny Wactor, known for roles on General Hospital and Westworld, was fatally shot by thieves attempting to steal the catalytic converter from his parked car in Los Angeles.

American actor Johnny Wactor was sadly shot dead in Los Angeles on Saturday morning when he confronted three men who were planning to steal a catalytic converter from his car. He was 37 years old.

Wactor, who has appeared in the TV series General Hospital, was killed when he went near his vehicle and found the robbers working on it. As narrated by his mother Scarlett, Wactor was coming from work and heading towards his car, and at first, he did not know that he was actually in a risky situation because he assumed that the car was being towed.

”He would give you the shirt off his back,” said Wactor's agent David Shaul. “He will always be missed after more than a decade we have been together. ” 

This unfortunate event took place at the intersection of West Pico Boulevard and South Hope Street in downtown LA. The suspects who were in the process of cutting off Wactor's catalytic converter so that they could sell the precious metals contained therein shot Wactor dead before escaping. Till now, there have been no arrests. 

According to NBC4, Scarlett referred to her son's killing as “senseless. ”Now, Wactor's co-workers at General Hospital describe him as “truly unique and a joy to be around every single day.

Apart from his tenure at General Hospital, the South Carolina-born actor has worked in the NBC series Siberia and appeared in two episodes of the HBO series Westworld. He was only 37 years old.
