Uttar Pradesh's Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath, spearheads an ambitious plan to expand the state's expressway network, linking key regions and boosting industrial growth. His directives aim to connect existing expressways, develop new links, and establish industrial corridors along these routes. The plan encompasses solar energy integration and targets completion within stipulated timelines.
In
a significant infrastructure drive, Uttar Pradesh's Chief Minister, Yogi
Adityanath, has propelled the state's development by sanctioning the
establishment of two new expressways. Reviewing ongoing progress, Adityanath
emphasized the need for strategic planning and adherence to high-quality
standards in construction projects.
Underlining
the transformative impact of expressways on the state's identity, Adityanath
attributed this progress to the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. With
the inauguration of expressways like Purvanchal and Bundelkhand, the state
earned the moniker of 'Expressway Pradesh.' Currently, ongoing projects like
Ganga, Ballia Link, and Gorakhpur Link Expressways are in progress and require
timely completion with uncompromised quality.
Adityanath stressed the necessity of a link expressway connecting Agra-Lucknow and Purvanchal Expressways, urging detailed planning for this approximately 60 km route. He also highlighted the importance of connecting Farrukhabad district to the Ganga Expressway, pushing for comprehensive studies and proposal preparations.

Ganga, Bundelkhand, Agra-Lucknow, Purvanchal, and Gorakhpur Link, were set in
motion. Adityanath outlined provisions for the Chitrakoot Link Expressway,
emphasizing prompt selection of developers for its construction.
Adityanath
affirmed the acquisition of land for the Ganga Expressway and urged
acceleration to ensure public accessibility by December 2024, coinciding with
the Prayagraj Kumbh 2025. He reviewed progress on the Gorakhpur Link
Expressway, emphasizing its timely completion and the beneficial impact on
surrounding districts.
