Six individuals, including popular YouTuber Elvish Yadav, have been implicated in a case related to alleged illegal snake venom supply at a party held in Noida's Sector 51. This incident has led to charges under the Wildlife Protection Act and Section 120A of the Indian Penal Code.

As of now, five of the named suspects have been apprehended, while Elvish Yadav has yet to be arrested. Noida's Deputy Commissioner of Police, Rambadan Singh, clarified that Yadav's involvement is under investigation, and he is not currently on the run.

In response to the allegations, YouTuber Elvish Yadav took to social media, refuting all claims and expressing his willingness to cooperate with the police. He emphasized that he was not involved in such activities and requested not to be defamed.

Using snake venom recreationally is an uncommon and dangerous practice in India. Experts warn against it, citing severe health risks, including neurological complications and potential fatality. Additionally, extracting venom from snakes is considered animal cruelty and can lead to their death.

The case was brought to light by an animal welfare activist associated with the NGO People For Animals (PFA), which laid a trap to apprehend the suspects. In the course of the operation, nine snakes, including cobras and pythons, were seized, along with a small tube containing suspected snake venom.

The suspects have been charged under various sections of the Wildlife Protection Act, which could result in significant legal consequences. The snakes have been placed in the custody of the forest department as they are protected under the Wildlife Protection Act's Schedule 1.

This incident has raised concerns about illegal wildlife activities, animal welfare, and the role of social media influencers in promoting dangerous and unlawful behavior. Legal actions against the accused are ongoing, and investigations continue to uncover the full extent of their involvement.
