In a crucial move, leaders of the I.N.D.I.A bloc are convening a meeting today to chart their course for the upcoming Parliament budget session. The meeting, scheduled for February 2, aims to fine-tune their joint strategy, ensuring a unified front during crucial sessions.

The gathering is set to take place in the chamber of Mallikarjun Kharge, the Leader of the Opposition in the Rajya Sabha, at 10:30 am. The discussion will center on formulating a comprehensive approach to tackle key issues and present a formidable opposition to the BJP-led Centre.

The Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) has been proactive in coordinating its floor strategy across various parties during Parliament sessions. This collaboration is aimed at effectively challenging the policies and decisions of the ruling government.

Earlier this week, a high-profile meeting took place where the top leaders of the opposition bloc INDIA deliberated on the aftermath of the resignation and arrest of Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren. Sonia Gandhi, Sitaram Yechury, Sharad Pawar, and T R Baalu were among the prominent figures present at this gathering, hosted by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge.

The alliance, consisting of over two dozen opposition parties, was formed to present a united front against the BJP in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Notably, the Congress plays a pivotal role in the ruling coalition in Jharkhand.

As the leaders strategize and coordinate, the INDIA bloc aims to assert its influence and address pressing issues, setting the tone for a robust and constructive budget session. The outcomes of this meeting are anticipated to shape the narrative and actions of the opposition in the critical sessions ahead.
