Driverless Car Engulfed in Flames on Jaipur's Ajmer Road Sparks Panic; No Injuries Reported

A driverless car engulfed in flames sped down Jaipur's Ajmer Road, colliding with a motorcycle and road divider before being extinguished by emergency services. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, though the incident caused panic among motorists.

In a dramatic incident on Jaipur’s Ajmer Road, a driverless car burst into flames, causing chaos among motorists on Saturday. The flaming vehicle, which had been abandoned moments earlier by the driver, sped down an elevated road towards Sudarshanpura Pulia, eventually crashing into a parked motorcycle and a road divider. Thankfully, no injuries were reported, despite the intense scene.

The driver, identified as Jitendra Jangid, noticed smoke emanating from the car’s air conditioning system while descending the elevated road. Alarmed, he stopped the vehicle and exited to investigate, discovering the engine on fire. The flames spread rapidly, damaging the car's handbrake and causing the vehicle to roll driverless down the road.

Videos of the incident quickly went viral on social media, capturing the moment motorists and motorcyclists scrambled to flee from the flaming car. Emergency responders from 22 Godam arrived promptly, but the car was completely destroyed by the time the fire was extinguished.
