Eknath Shinde promised to ‘finish Lawrence Bishnoi’ post meeting actor Salman Khan

Salman Khan, a Bollywood star, met with Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Tuesday to receive assurances that he would be secure and protected following the shooting on Sunday early outside his Bandra, Mumbai, and apartment by two shooters.
Following the meeting, Eknath Shinde issued a strong speech condemning the gang violence in Mumbai and promising to finish Lawrence Bishnoi. There is no gang (war) in Mumbai. The Underworld has no (place) in Mumbai. This is Maharashtra, this is Mumbai. We will finish this (Lawrence) Bishnoi (gang) so that no one dares to do such a thing, he stated.
He said that Salman Khan and his family are now under more protection from the Mumbai Police as a result of the gunshots outside their Bandra residence.

Shinde went on, I have assured Salman Khan that the government stands behind him and his safety is the government's responsibility. The government will ensure that no one dares do such an act in Mumbai.
Early on Sunday morning, two persons riding bicycles opened fire in front of the Galaxy Apartments in Mumbai's Bandra area, firing many shots. The CCTV footage shows that one of the guys fired rounds in Salman Khan's direction.
The police claimed that the individual on the rear of Khan's property fired five shots, two of which struck the gallery and the wall of Khan's home. Vicky Gupta, 24, and Sagar Pal, 21, were taken into custody by the Mumbai Police in connection with the incident.
