SpaceX CEO Elon Musk has voiced his support for India's Chandrayaan-3 moon mission budget, highlighting its cost-effectiveness compared to Hollywood's mega-budget sci-fi film Interstellar.

Musk's response quickly gained traction, garnering over 60,000 views and more than 1,900 likes. The online community appeared engaged, offering a range of reactions that reflected their opinions on space exploration, filmmaking budgets, and the value of scientific endeavours.

India's Chandrayaan-3 mission, led by the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), aims to achieve a soft landing on the Moon's uncharted South Pole. With a budget of approximately $75 million, the mission intends to advance our understanding of lunar conditions and contribute to scientific knowledge.

In contrast, the movie Interstellar, directed by Christopher Nolan and featuring Matthew McConaughey, is a cinematic depiction of space adventure. The film was produced with a substantial budget of $165 million, underscoring the financial magnitude of Hollywood productions compared to India's lunar exploration.

As the highly anticipated moment of Chandrayaan-3's soft landing approached, ISRO announced the initiation of the Automatic Landing Sequence (ALS). This critical phase involved the Lander Module (LM) reaching the designated point, triggering the activation of throttleable engines for a controlled descent.
