As the highly anticipated moment of Chandrayaan-3's soft landing approached, ISRO announced the initiation of the Automatic Landing Sequence (ALS). This critical phase involved the Lander Module (LM) reaching the designated point, triggering the activation of throttleable engines for a controlled descent.
