Asaram Bapu claims that the movie includes insulting material that could have negative consequences for his standing and perception. The notice claims

Asaram Bapu, who claims to be a godman, has issued a formal notice to the producers of a new movie, "Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai," featuring Manoj Bajpayee. Asaram Bapu has requested to stop the release of the movie and impose orders to prohibit its screening, as per the notice.

Asaram Bapu claims that the movie includes insulting material that could have negative consequences for his standing and perception. The notice claims that there was a deliberate and harmful attempt to depict a movie character as a religious leader named Asaram Bapu.

The religious figure asserts that he has not granted his authorization or approval for the utilization of his name or image in the movie.

The legal representatives of Asaram Bapu have cautioned the producers of the movie that they may face legal consequences if they do not adhere to the requests outlined in the notice. They have also urged the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) to withhold certification of the movie until the issue is addressed.

The creators of the movie have refuted any deliberate allusion to Asaram Bapu. According to them, the movie is a product of imagination, and any similarities with actual people are entirely fortuitous.

Pravesh Bharadwaj, who is in charge of the movie, has announced that they will address the legal notice at an appropriate time.

The most recent issue related to the film's release pertains to a legal communication received from Asaram Bapu. The movie has been the subject of widespread disapproval by many individuals and groups who contend that it advocates for vigilantism and encourages the use of violent methods.

It is yet uncertain if the movie will adhere to its intended release schedule or if measures will be taken legally to halt its distribution.
