'Hello Raipur' Marathon Organized to Raise Awareness Among Youth Against Drug Addiction

In an effort to combat the rising menace of drug addiction among the youth, the Raipur Police recently organized a marathon named 'Hello Raipur.' The event was initiated to promote awareness and educate young individuals about the perils of substance abuse.

 

Mr. I.G. Ratan Lal Dangi, while sharing insights about the marathon, revealed that the 'Hello Raipur' campaign has been running for a month with the primary objective of safeguarding the youth from falling victim to the clutches of addiction. Under the guidance of S.P. Prashant Agrawal, the Anti-Crime and Cyber Unit, along with the Anti-Narcotics Cell, have been taking stern action against drug traffickers and illegal distributors to curb the illicit drug trade.

Addressing the significance of the campaign, Mr. Sarveshwar Bhure, the Collector of Raipur, appealed to everyone to come forward and contribute actively to the battle against drug addiction. He emphasized the importance of creating an environment where the youth are well-informed about the dire consequences of substance abuse and are equipped to make wise choices.
