The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued various rainfall alerts for several states across India as strong monsoon conditions persist. Maharashtra's Pune and Satara districts are under an 'orange' alert for heavy to very heavy rainfall on Monday, while Mumbai and neighboring areas face a 'yellow' alert for heavy rainfall.

In Kerala, six districts including Alappuzha, Ernakulam, and Wayanad are under a 'yellow' alert. The National Institute of Oceanography has also warned of tall waves and 'Kallakkadal' phenomenon along Kerala's coast until Monday night.

Himachal Pradesh, still reeling from recent floods and landslides, has been issued a 'yellow' alert for heavy rainfall and thunderstorms at isolated places until August 8. The state has suffered estimated losses exceeding ₹700 crore, with 55 people still missing and over 80 roads closed.

Delhi residents can expect light rainfall with temperatures ranging between 26°C and 35°C. The IMD predicts light to very heavy rainfall during the week in Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan, Punjab, and Haryana.
