India all set to set foot on Moon with Chandrayaan-3

Chandrayaan-3, country's third lunar exploration mission is expected to make the country 4th in number to land its spacecraft successfully and safely on the surface of the moon. It is scheduled to be launched at 2:35 PM on Friday, 14th July, 2023
It is the successor of Chandrayaan-2 which failed to successfully land on the Lunar surface. It is set to be launched by ISRO (Indian Space Research Organisation) from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh.
Chandrayaan-3 is equipped with a lander, a rover and a propulsion module which weighs around 3,900 kilograms.
On Thursday, a day prior to launch a team of scientists including S. Somnath, chairman of ISRO paid a visit to Tirupathi Venkatachalapathy Temple in Andhra Pradesh with a miniature model of Chandrayaan-3 and offered prayers.
Along with the scientists the whole country is anticipating for the successful launch of Chandrayaan-3 which will done on GSLV Mark 3 (LVM 3) heavy lift launch vehicle. The citizens also pray for the safe landing of aircraft on the surface of moon on 23 August, 2023.
Ex-director Satish Dhawan Space Centre says, Chandrayaan 3 lander is more robust compared to Chandrayaan 2.
The well wishes of the Indians could be well represented by the sand art of Chandrayaan-3 by renowned sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik with "Vijayee Bhava" written as a blessing.
The latest visuals coming from the Space center clearly depicts the readiness of the launch of the aircraft later in the day.
