India secures their eighth Asia Cup title in style with a dominant 10-wicket victory over Sri Lanka.

The men in blue on Sunday scripted history by beating Sri Lanka  in one of the shortest matches in the Asia Cup final 2023  by ten wickets.


Just a month ago, uncertainty loomed over India's lineup, but throughout the tournament, they showcased remarkable consistency. They fielded a largely unchanged XI and proved that injuries to key players, especially batsmen, could be opportunities for talented young prospects waiting in the wings.


One such emerging talent was Ishan Kishan, whose stellar performances raised questions about Shreyas Iyer's position in the squad. Regardless of his batting position, Kishan's solidity with the bat made a compelling case for his inclusion.
