India provides humanitarian aid to crisis-hit Ukraine, comprising sleeping bags, blankets, and tents. The aid was presented by Ambassador Harsh Jain at the Shyroke Village Council and Zaporizhzhia Geriatric Boarding House in the presence of Yuriy Malashko, Head of Zaporizhzhia state administration.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed concern over regions facing attacks from occupiers, causing distress to peaceful cities and people. He tweeted about the recent shelling in Kryvyi Rih and Kherson, resulting in casualties and destruction. Despite the terror, Zelenskyy assured that rescuers and essential services are actively working to save lives.

India and Ukraine recently held their ninth round of Foreign Office Consultations in Kyiv to discuss the Moscow and Kyiv conflict and peace efforts. Ministry of External Affairs Secretary (West) Sanjay Verma and Ukraine’s First Deputy Minister of Foreign Ministry Emine Dzhaparova co-chaired the meeting, reviewing bilateral ties and exchanging perspectives on the ongoing conflict and peace initiatives. The agenda also covered global and multilateral issues of mutual interest.
