IPL 2024 Opening Ceremony details: date, time, venue of Streaming

Chennai's Chepauk Stadium will host the opening ceremony of the 2024 Indian Premier League (IPL) on Friday night. With a lineup of performers that includes, among many others, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, AR Rahman, and Sonu Nigam, the inaugural ceremony is guaranteed to be the talk of the town.

This competition begins with a game between the Chennai Super Kings and the Royal Challengers Bangalore. We will now toss at 7:30 PM IST, and the first innings will commence at 8:00 PM IST, thanks to the opening ceremony. The opening ceremony for the 2024 Indian Premier League is scheduled to start at 6:30 p.m. Indian Standard Time.

The 2024 Indian Premier League opening ceremony will be graced by a profusion of well-known names and thrilling performances. In addition to Bollywood hits, AR Rahman and Sonu Nigam will be performing patriotic songs, a source has disclosed to Hindustan Times.

The insider disclosed the following information to put the length of the opening ceremony into context: "The entire show, including Akshay and Tiger's performance, will be approximately thirty minutes." The press release reads, "In addition to the musical act, there will also be a never-before-seen AR (Augmented Reality) technology display that is also a highlight of the opening ceremony." Rahman and Sonu will also be performing some Bollywood songs together.

Actress Tamannaah Bhatia, singer Arijit Singh, and actor RashmikaMandanna all gave performances at the Indian Premier League opening ceremony last year.
