Kerala Man:- A 36-year-old man who was reported dead and cremated eight months ago was seen in Margao. Deepak Balakrishnan Kandi was found in a motel in the old station road area by local police, who took him into the custody of Kerala police. The police officials were already on the hunt for him after determining that the cremated corpse wasn't his.   Kerala Man Kerala Man-Kerala Man According to police sources, Deepak went missing from Meppayur on June 7, 2022, and a missing person's complaint was filed at the local police station. Unfortunately, on 17th July 2022, a body was found on a beach in Kerala that was falsely recognized as Deepak's because it resembled the missing Meppayur man. Deepak's family performed the final rites and found peace. However, days later, Kerala police discovered that the cremated body was of some other Panthirikkara native who had likewise gone missing. DNA-test samples of the cremated body supported the police to realise their mistaken identification assumption and immediately, a search for Deepak was launched. The criminal branch took over the inquiry. On 31st January, Margao local police were conducting standard hotel monitoring.  During a random search of a hotel's visitor list near the old railway station road, they found an Aadhar number that revealed Deepak's identity. He was immediately detained and Kerala police were notified who arrived in Goa and took him into custody.     Kerala Man Kerala Man-Kerala Man Deepak informed police authorities that he had been to Jaipur, Delhi, and Punjab before landing in Goa recently. He also informed police that he did work for a living in Bogmalo. However, Deepak recently shifted to Margao, which finally brought him under the notice of the police, ending his eight-month disappearance. When reporters told Deepak at the Margao police station that his funeral rites had already been performed, he just grinned and stated he wasn't aware of such events.
