At a rally in Haryana, Rahul Gandhi criticized PM Narendra Modi's economic policies, linking them to wealth disparities highlighted by the Ambani wedding. He also condemned the Agniveer scheme for undermining benefits for soldiers' families and promised financial support for women and farmers if Congress comes to power.

At a rally in Bahadurgarh, Haryana, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi launched a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s economic policies, linking them to the extravagant wedding of Mukesh Ambani's son, Anant Ambani. Gandhi questioned the source of such immense wealth, asserting, “Whose money is this? It is your money.” He contrasted the financial capabilities of affluent industrialists with the struggles of ordinary citizens, particularly farmers, who often incur debt to fund their children's weddings.

Gandhi emphasized the disparities in financial power, claiming that while select individuals can lavishly spend on weddings, the average farmer faces insurmountable debt. “If this is not an attack on the Constitution, then what is?” he asked the crowd, highlighting the inequities he perceives in Modi's economic structure.

In addition to his remarks on wealth, Gandhi criticized the government's Agniveer scheme, alleging that it undermines the rights and benefits of the families of martyred soldiers. He described the scheme as a move to deprive these families of pensions and other entitlements, asserting that privatization in defense is primarily aimed at benefiting industrialists like Adani.

Gandhi also pledged support to Haryana residents by promising direct financial aid of ₹2000 to women and a commitment to reduce gas cylinder prices significantly. “When our government is formed, you will get gas cylinders at ₹500,” he asserted, pledging to implement policies that support farmers and lower living costs.
