A second attack on the Indian Consulate in San Francisco by Khalistan radicals occurred on July 2. The swift response from the San Francisco Fire Department prevented any casualties or significant damage during the incident.

The US Department of State strongly denounced the violent act, which was accompanied by a video referencing the recent death of Hardeep Singh Nijjar, the Canada-based leader of the Khalistan Tiger Force (KTF).

The US Department of State strongly denounced the violent act, which was accompanied by a video referencing the recent death of Hardeep Singh Nijjar, the Canada-based leader of the Khalistan Tiger Force (KTF).

Nijjar, a notorious terrorist with a hefty bounty on his head, was killed outside a gurdwara in Canada last month.

State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller condemned the vandalism and attempted arson directed at the Indian Consulate, stressing that such violence against diplomatic facilities or foreign diplomats in the US constitutes a criminal offense.

Diya TV, a South Asian broadcast TV network in the US, confirmed the arson attack through a tweet, stating that the fire was quickly contained by the San Francisco authorities, leading to minimal damage and no harm to consulate staff. The incident was reported to local, state, and federal authorities.
