Ayodhya is on high alert as intelligence agencies have issued warnings about a possible terrorist attack leading up to the consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple on January 22. The heightened security measures come amid concerns of potential threats to political leaders, officials, and overall unrest in the area.

Intelligence reports suggest that radical elements are actively planning to target specific individuals and create disturbances in Ayodhya. Additionally, these elements have sought to exploit the current Israel-Hamas conflict to influence the Indian government's stance in favor of Israel, according to sources within the intelligence community. In response to this alarming information, central security agencies have conducted a high-level meeting to address the potential threat, ensuring that all security forces deployed for the Ram Janmabhoomi ceremony are on high alert.

The security concerns extend beyond Ayodhya, with attempts to spread unrest in various parts of Uttar Pradesh. Anti-national groups have reportedly prepared social media posts aimed at creating an anti-India atmosphere, especially in front of international communities. This has prompted authorities to closely monitor online activities and take preventive measures to counteract any potential misinformation or attempts to incite violence.

As Ayodhya prepares for the consecration ceremony, an extensive security setup is being implemented. The Uttar Pradesh government is actively executing a comprehensive plan that involves advanced security protocols and efficient traffic management strategies. The security measures include the deployment of CCTV cameras, an anti-drone system, and other precautions to ensure the safety of the event.

The Integrated Traffic Management System (ITMS) has integrated 1,500 public CCTV cameras throughout Ayodhya, facilitating comprehensive surveillance. The yellow zone in Ayodhya will be equipped with 10,715 AI-based cameras featuring face recognition technology. These cameras will be seamlessly integrated with the ITMS and monitored from a central control room, enhancing overall monitoring and security in crucial areas.

Furthermore, the Uttar Pradesh Police will deploy an Anti-Drone System to provide an additional layer of security against potential aerial threats during the consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple. The upcoming event, scheduled for January 22, holds immense spiritual, historical, and cultural significance for the people of India, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi set to attend. Ayodhya's security measures aim to ensure a peaceful and secure environment throughout the Amrit Mahautsav from January 14 to January 22.
