David Lubin, father of slain IDF soldier Elisheva Rose Ida Lubin, has been harassed by antisemitic neighbors in Atlanta. A viral video shows them mocking his daughter’s death and using slurs. The dispute arose after he displayed memorial signs. Lubin is considering legal action over the repeated abuse.
The father of slain IDF soldier Sgt. Elisheva Rose Ida Lubin, who was killed in Jerusalem’s Old City in November 2023, has faced antisemitic abuse from neighbors in Atlanta. A shocking video shows them mocking his daughter’s death and hurling slurs at him.
Elisheva, 20, was stabbed by a teenage attacker while patrolling Jerusalem as a border police officer. She had moved from the U.S. to Israel in 2021 and joined the army in 2022. Her father, David Lubin, has since put up memorial signs honoring her, which reportedly angered his neighbors who displayed pro-Palestinian messages.
David said the harassment escalated when a neighbor shouted that his daughter “deserved to die.” In heated exchanges caught on video, one neighbor accused him of being a “corrupt Israeli” and suggested that his daughter may have been killed by friendly fire. Another went further, claiming her death was justified because “she was fighting.”
In response, David called their remarks hateful and disgusting. His neighbors, however, said they stood by their statements and admitted to using antisemitic slurs without regret.
