TATAs Air India to Seal A Mega Plane Order with Boeing

TATA’s Air India is all set to revive the economy of the Company by ordering 20 Boeing 787s, 10 Boeing 777Xs and 190 Boeing 737 MAX narrowbody planes. The order is set to be placed on the day which will mark the completion of 1 year since TATA got back into operations of Air India. The second part of the order consists of 40 Airbus A350 widebody aircrafts and 235 Airbus single-aisle jets. TATAs Air TATAs Air-TATAs Air When Will The Deal be Closed? This huge deal between Air India, Boeing and CFM International was expected to be wrapped up by Friday (27th January 2023), however, no public details about the deal’s finalization have been disclosed yet. Many rounds of negotiation have already gone into the making of this deal. In celebration of 1 year of TATA’s restoration of ownership of Air India, the airlines Company had also sent out a message to all its employees saying, “finalizing a historic order of new aircraft to power future growth” on Friday.
