A special photo and banner exhibition outside the United Nations office in Geneva started and will last for three days. It’s there to show everyone the difficult situation that the Baloch people, who are the original inhabitants of Balochistan (a big and resource rich province in Pakistan), are going through. They want to make everyone aware of the violations of people’s rights and the increasing number of forced disappearances happening in Balochistan, Pakistan.

The photo show outside the United Nations office is put together by a group of organizations, including the Baloch Voice Association, Voice for Baloch Missing Persons, and Baloch Peoples’ Congress. These groups are asking the United Nations for help to keep Baloch people safe because they’ve been going through really bad human rights abuses.

People have noticed that political activists, students, and other smart people have gone missing without any explanation. They’ve been hurt and left in faraway places.
