Union Home Minister Amit Shah is set to make another visit to Madhya Pradesh, which is heading towards elections. On August 20, he will unveil the report card of the state government led by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), according to a party official. Shah's itinerary includes a visit to the state capital, Bhopal, followed by a departure for Gwalior, where he will participate in the State Working Committee meeting. This meeting is scheduled to take place at Gwalior's Atal Auditorium.

Shah will be in Bhopal on August 20 to release the report card of the Shivraj Singh Chouhan Government. Following this, he'll head to Gwalior for a working committee meeting, as stated State BJP leader.

Internal sources indicate that BJP officials, including MLAs, MPs, district presidents, and general secretaries, have been called to the Gwalior meeting. Around 1,200 members will gather to discuss the party's final strategy for the upcoming Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, which are expected in the next few months.

Political analysts suggest that the BJP is making significant efforts to perform well in the Gwalior and Chambal region, especially following their loss in the Gwalior mayoral elections last year to the Congress, marking the first time in 57 years.
