Tensions between Hezbollah and Israel have escalated sharply after a series of deadly attacks across Lebanon, leading to the deaths of 37 people, including 25 Hezbollah members. These attacks, which saw the explosion of pagers and walkie-talkies used by Hezbollah, have been attributed to Israel by the militant group. In response, Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah condemned the strikes, labeling them a "massacre" and warning of severe retaliation.

Israel has confirmed that its military struck hundreds of Hezbollah targets in Lebanon, including rocket launchers and other militant infrastructure, in a bid to neutralize threats posed to its security. The strikes were carried out as part of an ongoing operation, with Israeli defense minister Yoav Gallant affirming that the country’s military actions against Hezbollah will persist.

Nasrallah, in his first speech since the attacks, warned Israel of "tough retribution," stating that the group remains committed to supporting the Palestinians in Gaza and will not back down. He further criticized Israel for overstepping "all controls, laws, and morals."

The U.S. has expressed its readiness to support Israel if necessary. Pentagon spokeswoman Sabrina Singh confirmed the presence of significant U.S. military assets in the Middle East, including warships and fighter jets, to protect American forces and assist Israel if required.

While the situation remains volatile, Hezbollah's leadership has vowed to continue their struggle, and Israel shows no sign of retreating, leaving the region on the brink of further conflict.
