Rock Samples:-
The mineral zircon, widely considered by the scientific community as the oldest in the world, is found in Telengana's Chitrial area, as per reports. Given its age, the finding can throw light on the hidden aspects of the origin of the earth and thus can be a landmark in the study of age of earth.  Zircon has been found in Telengana by a joint effort of researchers from the Presidency University, Hiroshima University, and National Centre for Earth Science Studies (NCESS). The finding of the rock samples was published in the "Precambrian Research Journal," which studies the composition, structure, and evolution of the Earth and its neighbors. Rock Samples Rock Samples Presidency University professor Sankar Bose stated, “This is significant. Further study will help us understand the chemical and physical conditions, including the presence of water, in the first few hundred million years of the earth.” Scientists have found the oldest zircons dating back to 4.4 billion years ago in the JackHills region of Southwestern Australia. Apart from giving valuable information about the initial conditions of the earth, zircon is also used in other aspects of day-to-day activities thanks to its properties. Zircon has a high refractive index and is hard to break, which makes it a near-perfect alternative for diamonds. However, the majority of its application is identified in the ceramic industry. Rock Samples Rock Samples Earlier in 2018, geologists found about 4.24 billion years old zircon in Odisha. Zircons can solve a lot of doubts regarding the movement of tectonic plates in the initial times, whether the liquid was present in the first few hundred million years or the evolution of the Earth's crust to form the outermost layer we live in today.  For more updates keep visiting our website www.topstoriesworld.com where we provide unbiased, true, and top stories of the world.
