Arvind Kejriwal, the Chief Minister of Delhi and the national convenor of the Aam Admi Party has threatened to put half of the ruling BJP in jail if given control of the Central Bureau of Investigation and Enforcement Directorate for just one day.

He has accused the Narendra Modi-led BJP government at the Center of abusing the central agencies for political gain.

The Delhi Chief Minister also criticized the BJP government for fabricating charges against prominent AAP figures out of fear of suffering a humiliating loss in the upcoming elections in Gujarat and the MCD.

The AAP leader made these comments while speaking to a private TV news channel. He also claimed that nearly 167 cases had been brought against AAP leaders at the direction of the BJP, which is currently in power at the federal level.

However, he asserted that no investigating body had been able to demonstrate any wrongdoing by an AAP member.

"Over the past seven years, 167 lawsuits have been brought against AAP leaders, but not a single one has resulted in a conviction.

800 probe agency officers are solely dedicated to finding wrongdoing by AAP leaders but they have found nothing.

AAP leaders have been cleared in over 150 cases, and the others are still pending. Because they have filed bogus cases, agencies are being called before courts "said Kejriwal.

Kejriwal responded, "Give me control of the CBI, ED (Enforcement Directorate) for one day, half of the BJP will be in jail," when asked about Prime Minister Narendra Modi's assertion that his administration is completely transparent.

All of this occurs as the BJP and AAP are engaged in a heated political contest to win the upcoming Gujarat and MCD elections.

Manish Sisodia, Kejriwal's deputy, recently made the remarkable claim that the BJP is planning to assassinate the Delhi Chief Minister because the saffron party is afraid of losing the pivotal elections.

Manoj Tiwari, a BJP MP and former president of the Delhi unit, is allegedly ordering his goons to attack Kejriwal, according to the deputy chief minister of Delhi.

“The BJP is planning to kill Arvind Kejriwal in order to avoid losing the Gujarat and MCD elections. Their MP Manoj Tiwari has meticulously planned an attack on Arvind and is openly ordering his thugs to carry it out.

The public will now be held accountable for their misbehavior because AAP is not afraid of their petty politics ", wrote Sisodia in a tweet.

The AAP stated in response to the controversy strongly denouncing the threats. In its statement, AAP demanded that BJP be held accountable if anything happened to Kejriwal or any other party leader.

The BJP's threat to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal shows that it has no faith in democracy and that it will stop at nothing to gain power.

It also claimed that while BJP members had previously only abused others, they have since begun threatening people with death.

The BJP will be held directly accountable for anything that happens to Arvind Kejriwal, the chief minister, or any other AAP leader or supporter, the AAP warned.

Sources claim that V K Saxena, the lieutenant governor of Delhi, has ordered the city police commissioner to investigate the claims.

According to the sources, “LG has taken note of tweets and statements made by AAP leaders, including Dy CM Manish Sisodia, and requested the Police Commissioner to make sure that such eventuality—whether fomented or not—does not happen, to the fullest extent possible."

It should be noted that Satyendar Jain, a minister in Delhi, has been incarcerated for the past six months due to an alleged money laundering case that the ED filed.

Manish Sisodia, the deputy chief minister, has been named as a suspect in the CBI FIR in connection with a case involving an alleged scam involving the implementation of the Excise Policy 2021–2022, and the party's communication coordinator Vijay Nair is currently being held by the ED. All of these cases have been labeled politically motivated by AAP.
