Anup Pandey Wins Journalist of the Year at IIMCAA Awards 2024

Anup Pandey was named 'Journalist of the Year' at the IIMCAA Awards 2024, receiving a ₹1.5 lakh cash prize. Other awardees included Shagun Kapil for agriculture reporting and several media professionals across diverse categories, all honored for their contributions to journalism, advertising, and public relations.

The Indian Institute of Mass Communication Alumni Association (IIMCAA) announced its 2024 award winners, celebrating excellence in journalism, advertising, and public relations. Anup Pandey was honored as 'Journalist of the Year,' receiving a trophy, certificate, and a ₹1.5 lakh cash prize.

In the agriculture reporting category, Shagun Kapil was named 'Agriculture Reporter of the Year' and awarded ₹1 lakh. Other winners across diverse categories included Rajat Mishra for publishing reporting, Abhinav Goel for broadcast reporting, and Surabhi Singh as producer of the year. Additionally, awards were given to Saransh Jain for advertising and Shillpi A Singh for public relations, with ad agency Ofactor and PR agency Kaizzen also recognized.

The event featured a special mention for several journalists who narrowly missed top honors, including Abhishek Angad and Ashutosh Mishra. Dignitaries such as former PIB Director General Kuldeep Singh Dhatwalia and ADG Raj Kumar were in attendance, while the ceremony was hosted by IIMCAA Executive President Gayatri Shrivastava.
