Delhi Metro's Blue Line services were disrupted on Wednesday for over 30 minutes after a drone was found on the tracks between Uttam Nagar East and Uttam Nagar West stations. Officials reported that services were halted between 2:50 pm and 3:29 pm while the drone was removed, causing inconvenience to passengers during this period.
To manage the disruption, Delhi Metro operated single-line services between Uttam Nagar East and Janakpuri West, and Uttam Nagar West and Dwarka, while the rest of the Blue Line functioned in two separate loops—Janakpuri West to Vaishali/Noida Electronic City, and Dwarka to Dwarka Sector-21.

A senior police officer confirmed that nothing suspicious was found on the drone, which was taken into police custody.
Normal metro services resumed at 3:29 pm after the all-clear was given.
