Divorce: Singer Joe Jonas and Actress Sophie Turner Going Separate Ways

According to public reports, the singer, Joe Jonas filed a divorce petition in Miami Dade County, Florida, on Tuesday, citing that the marriage is "irretrievably broken" as the reason for dissolution.

 

The singer and the actor from Game of Thrones got married in 2019 after dating for almost three years. They have two kids: a 3-year-old named Willa and another daughter who is 14 months old, mentioned as "D." in the divorce papers. Jonas is actively pursuing shared custody, and it's worth noting that he and Turner have a prenuptial agreement, as indicated in the filing.

 

In 2016, they started dating, and in 2017, they got engaged. They had two weddings. The first was in 2019 in Las Vegas, right after an awards show. They married with a small group and an Elvis Presley impersonator. DJ Diplo shared pictures online, and later, Turner's representative confirmed the marriage.

 

They had a fancy second wedding in France at Château de Tourreau. Turner posted a photo on Instagram, calling themselves "Mr. and Mrs. Jonas." Maise Williams, Turner's co-star, was her Maid of Honor, and Jonas's brothers, Nick and Kevin, were also there.
