Two more individuals have been arrested in the Pune Porsche crash case for allegedly manipulating blood samples of the minor accused's friends. This development follows earlier arrests and a 900-page charge sheet. The case, involving a drunk driving incident by a minor, has raised questions about juvenile justice and forensic integrity.

The Pune Police have made two additional arrests in the high-profile Porsche accident case, which claimed the lives of two IT professionals in May. These individuals were apprehended for allegedly manipulating the blood samples of friends of the minor accused who were present in the car during the incident.

Pune Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar confirmed that the arrests were made by the crime branch on Monday night. This development follows a case registered in July against the parents of the accused and doctors at Sassoon Hospital for allegedly conspiring to tamper with evidence and manipulate blood samples.

The accident, which occurred on May 19, involved a Porsche car allegedly driven by a minor under the influence of alcohol. The case gained national attention when the Juvenile Justice Board (JJB) granted bail to the accused within hours of arrest on lenient terms.

In response to public outrage, the Women and Child Development Department formed a panel to investigate the conduct of JJB members in granting bail to minors. The accused was required to submit an essay on road safety as part of his bail conditions.

CCTV footage revealed that the minor had been drinking at a bar before the accident. His parents and grandfather were also arrested in connection with the case.

The Pune police have filed a comprehensive 900-page charge sheet against seven accused, including the juvenile's parents. The prime accused is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday, August 20, for a remand hearing.

This case has raised serious questions about juvenile justice, road safety, and the integrity of forensic evidence in high-profile cases. As the investigation continues, authorities are facing pressure to ensure a thorough and transparent process.
